Previous PvE Experience:
I started playing the game in Octobre 2011 and raided casually heroic up to Ny’Alotha when i started pugging the first few mythics first week and enjoyed it.
Since then, here are the world ranks I achieved (getting CE every time):<Ataraxia>
Ny’alotha 1868*
<HexagoN>
Castel Nathria 933
Sanctum of Domination 766
<Incognito>
Sepulcher of the First Ones 382
Vault of the Incarnates 388
Aberrus 340
<Inner Sanctum>
Amirdrassil 405History of Previous Guilds:
<Ataraxia>
When joining Ataraxia I already knew I was bound to join HexagoN for next tier, I applied to Ataraxia making sure they were aware of it and that they were happy to enjoy my company for the rest of their progress. I parted ways with them after we killed N’Zoth on the last week possible to get CE.<HexagoN>
I joined HexagoN to play with friends I raided heroic with in SoO.
I intended to stick with them as much as possible as I enjoyed playing with my longtime friends, but Sylvanas got the better of us and after our kill the guild disbanded.<Incognito>
After HexagoN’s disband I joined Incognito who were a higher ranked guild and I enjoyed my stay there very much, made friends.
Then After Aberrus I sadly had a change of my schedule IRL and couldn’t make thursdays anymore so I had to find a new home.<Inner Sanctum>
Inner Sanctum offered to trial me as they were rebuilding from losing many players after Aberrus progress, I got accepted and we successfuly progressed through Amirdrassil. Unfortunately the atmosphere was a bit foul and everyone was quite burned out, resulting in a disband of the raiding team and forcing me to leave if I wanted to keep raiding.Why did you leave them?:
Everything is described above.
How did you find out about Violent Circus?:
I checked through all 2 and 3/4 day guilds listed in wowprogress that did not raid thursdays and Violent Circus was among them.Why do you think this guild is fit for you and what are your expectations from us?:
I think Violent Circus could be a good fir for me as you mention you are looking for mature persons to form your team.
I put progression before anything else ingame, my mentality is I would rather be assigned a mechanic, get a 0% parse but kill bosses, than getting theorical 100s parses but never actually killing bosses.I expect a friendly but proficient raiding environment, where we solve problems together instead of arguing against eachother. Where the problem of one is the problem of all if it hinders progression.
What can you bring to the team?:
I think I can bring to the table a player with good sens of teamwork, in raid and outside of raid aswell. I tend to understand assignments quickly.
As a plus I know I am applying as a hunter, but I do enjoy trying a little bit of everything casually during each expansion and as such I would be willing to reroll to some other classes to help the roster out.Availability(How often are you available, etc.):
I take music classes which usually take one of the five weekday’s night off the board, but other than that I can be available most nights if we plan ahead.
However this is where I need to be transparent with you; these music classes follow similar rules to the schools classes your kid attend to. Meaning their schedule can change from one schoolyear to another (this was the reason I had to leave Incognito after Aberrus progress), and this applies to this year too.
Bottomline is I can not guarantee at this very moment if I’m going to be available on mondays next schoolyear.
I should have an answer to this around June.Nethertheless I prefer applying now and trial with the low chance that my schedule no longer matches your next schoolyear, rather than staying idle and not trying my luck.
I know this is a big downside to my application, but if it all works out for the best and I end up being able to raid on mondays, then we could have spent a couple more months getting to know eachother; and if it doesn’t then we can shake hands and part ways.
Anything else you would like to add?:
If anything was unclear or you wish to discuss any of this directly, do not hesitate to contact me on discord: tofdys.
Hello Tofdys,
Thank you for the application!
We’ll discuss internally and get back to you as soon as possible.Hi again,
We’ve discussed your application, and even though we thought it was a pretty good one,
we’re unfortunately not willing to fill a raid spot with someone who’s uncertain if they can raid next/every semester.
We also do certain raids on Thursdays, which sounds like it might be difficult for you.With this in mind we have decided to decline your application, and wish you luck in your continued search for a new guild!
