I started playing back in 2009. I have played on and off since then, mostly by myself doing casual stuff and playing PvP with few of my old friends from school. I have spent most of my time in this game playing my Mage.
Up until BfA my PvE experiences were very limited. I did some Challenge Modes in MoP and I have gotten a few curves but that’s about it. In PvP I have gotten 2.2k rating on my DH and on my Mage.In 8.3 I joined my first proper raiding guild. The guild was a Finnish guild on Darksorrow called “Muumitalo”. The main reason I joined was to get some gear for PvP and at first I wasn’t too thrilled about the idea of raiding. I joined just before the guild has started raiding mythic and quickly i managed to get a raid spot on my mage. We started to slowly progress through mythic Ny’alotha. I was hooked. I couldn’t believe what I have been missing all these years playing and barely touching the raid content. Unfortunately I had to drop out from the raid team as we were on the last 2 bosses. I had too much on my plate at the time with work and school. The guild however managed to push through and get the CE from Ny’alotha.
After getting the CE the guild decided to move to Ravencrest and go international for Shadowlands. The guild was now called “Fiasco”. With my situation with work and school calming down, I wanted to continue raiding in the guild. I also felt like i wanted to experience raiding on a different class, so I started Castle Nathria on my Warrior. After the first three bosses we realized we were kinda stacked with melee and could use a few casters. I had a little talk with my GM and we came to conclusion that I would get back to my Mage, for the greater good of the guild. It worked and we were back to steadily progressing CN.
During the Council of Blood fight I got offered an officer spot in the guild, which I gladly accepted.
I played my Mage up until halfway of the Sire progress. We were really struggling to find a DK and the way AMZ was at that moment, we thought that having a DK was kind of crucial for the raid. That’s when we decided that I would level up, gear and learn to play DK for the Sire. My GM trusted me to perform on a level, that wouldn’t slow the progress. In 2 resets I was ready, really under geared, but ready. And it paid off. Through a lot of roster issues we managed to kill Sire and get the CE.For 9.1 I stayed with my DK and I was really enjoying it. We managed to get a lot of new trials in the guild and roster was looking really good compared to Castle. We managed to clear the raid without any big issues. We had a really solid and tight roster in the guild. Got a lot new friends and the guild really started to feel like home.
But due to lack of passion for the game, the leadership decided to end the raiding journey of the guild.History of Previous Guilds:
Muumitalo 2020
Fiasco 2020-2022Why did you leave them?:
The guild stopped raiding. How did you find out about Violent Circus?:
From Wowprogress and from one of my friends in the guild (Wraiyth). I have also watched few of his streams where you were doing PTR testing. Why do you think this guild is fit for you and what are your expectations from us?:
I really started to value more the community of our guild in 9.1. What I really disliked in Castle Nathria was the constantly changing roster. It just didn’t feel like a team in that point. But now that we had a good tight roster in this tier, everything just became more enjoyable. So when I was reading through your guilds info, I realized that I really share the same values of what a guild should be, like a family.I want to grow as player and I think the environment your guild provides would be suitable for it. Constantly getting better as a guild and as player is something I want to experience playing this game. So I expect the guild to be full of solid, experienced and like minded people, who constantly strive to get better as a player and as a guild. A place that I could be used efficiently and to my full potential.
What can you bring to the team?:
With me you get a really stand-up guy who knows his class in and out. I want to improve constantly and I always bring 110% of myself to the raid. I’m always prepared for a new fight beforehand. I admit my mistakes and always try to learn from them. I am very social when its suitable, but also can keep my mouth shut and be locked in for the kill when its needed. I also have no issues of being a player who comes to from the bench to fill in, since I think its important to have those players too. If it benefits the guild, I’m all for it.I am also very flexible when it comes to the classes in game. Even though I’m applying as DK and mainly would love to play with it, I can commit to a class/role that benefits the guild the most. I really enjoy to go through logs of different classes etc. I think it gives me a lot of knowledge about my class, other classes and raid fights overall.
Availability(How often are you available, etc.):
Almost everyday works for me. Some occasional days it might be really hard to get online, since I work and study at the same time. But those are rare.Anything else you would like to add?: Sorry if this application was too long and hopefully it covers everything. If you need to contact me, you can add me on Battle.net: Flawa#21519 or Discord: Flawa#4645.
