    Previous PvE Experience:
I had been a casual player for most of my WoW career by beginning my journey with Cataclysm 4.3, dipping my toes into a variety of content, but never taking the game too serious. My first ever taste of Mythic Raiding came with the launch of Legion – Emerald Nightmare. During this time I was a full-time student and began to realise the detriment this was causing to my grades – I Decided to ‘retire’ for the foreseeable future.

Fast forward 5 years I’m now settled with a full-time job, home, cat, partner etc. Finding myself some extra time, I decided that I would challenge myself to pick up where I started during my student days and try to accomplish Cutting Edge. With only a few months to spare until Shadowlands, I used that time to dedicate myself to ‘get good’ and prepare with this goal in mind. Through perseverance, grinding, and teamwork I was able to achieve my first ever Cutting Edge with Castle Nathria.

    History of Previous Guilds:
    Agricultural Society / Silvermoon / 2020-2021
Joined this 2-day guild as part of their bootstrap recruitment late into 8.3 with the intention of progressing Mythic Raiding. Their goal was to utilise the launch of Shadowland’s to bolster the ranks and inventively achieve Cutting Edge in the foreseeable future.

    Proper Guild Name / Silvermoon – 2021-Current
My current guild and the first guild I was able to achieve cutting edge with. The guild was formed mid-way through BFA and were able to achieve their first Cutting Edge in Ny’alatho. I had a mutual friend who played in the guild and during the Christmas break of Shadowlands I banded together with them to accomplish Heroic Sludgefist/Denathrius through a semi guild / pug groups. I was able to impress their healing officer and they offered me a permanent spot on their healer roster, the rest was history.

    Why did you leave them?:
    Agricultural Society
During the pre-season, early progression and then christmas break, I was able to elevate and gradually improve both my confidence and abilities in the healing role, and unbeknownst to me throughout this tenure, it became clear that my priorities and intentions of what I was looking to achieve we’re not going to be possible with Agricultural Society. Having accomplished a lot during the christmas break, and believing a bit more in my potential, I left this guild to join a more experienced 3 day guild (Proper Guild Name) with the clear goal of achieving Cutting Edge and to also further challenge myself with similarly skilled players.

    Proper Guild Name
My current guild and one that I will forever hold dearly, the journey to Cutting Edge was filled with frustrations, accomplishments and controversies. Reflecting back I wouldn’t have changed it for the world. But the main reasoning as to why I’m looking to leave, is predominately the 3-day schedule.

As Covid restrictions are being freed, i’m finding myself missing out on oppurtunities with friend and families. The passion for high end content is still there, but I believe this can be accomplished with less hours. I’m beginning to find the 3-days too much of a commitment, and quite recently the guild is slipping into bad habits with late starts, and a bit too much down-time in between pulls due to lack of preparement.

I’ve been very glad to be part of their journey, but I think the time has come to put myself forward once again and seek out new challenges.

How did you find out about Violent Circus?:
Through a previous Guild Mate (Fluffy – Agricultural Society), I’ve been able to follow your progression through Fluffy’s beautiful Austrian (demon?) eyes, and have been super impressed as to what you’re accomplishing as a 2-day guild, I find it very inspired.

Why do you think this guild is fit for you and what are your expectations from us?:

I believe that we share similar ethos, your mission to become one of the best 2-day guilds is highly motivating and I could only hope to be part of that journey. I’ve been chasing that golden goose the past year to find the right guild that I can settle down with and work hard to accomplish like-minded goals. You pride yourself on leading by example and listening to the input of others, I would relish in the opportunity to be part of that process and involved in your communities mutual respect of one and other.

What can you bring to the team?:
I’m a passionate and selfless player that dedicates my play into the greater good of the guild. I have had ample time during Castle Nathria progression to finely tune the possibilities of what a Venthyr Holy Paladin can bring. Through extensive research, experimentation and devotion to that class, I am able to accomplish both competitive HPS and also healer DPS consistently.

I believe in never being satisified, and it is that is what pushes me and motivates me to continuously improve and adapt to the many situations that arise during progression.

Laslty, I have the ability to own up to my mistakes/misplays and learn from them promptly.

Availability(How often are you available, etc.):
Given ample notice I can be available most evenings, and punctuality is something I pride myself on. The raid days you schedule are ones which I can follow, and would never turn down the opportunity for an optional/additional raid-day within reason (hard boss, close to killing etc.)

Anything else you would like to add?:
Would like to just say thank you for the opportunity and for reading my application. I understand that i’m not decorated with a multitude of raiding accolades, but I am immensely interested in an opportunity to further grow and expand upon the development of my raiding history, as I can deliver the high-quality gameplay that is so important in the Mythic progression scene and that is exactly the expertise I would bring to Violent Circus.
