    Name / Alias: Gregory

    Country of Origin: Germany

    Age: 28

Main Character Name: Eternia-Outland (up until Castle Nathria); Windfurybot-Outland (currently for S4)
Main Character Class: Monk / Shaman; I’m considering playing Monk, Shaman or Priest for DF, but I’m flexible and would leave it up to the guild and their needs.

    Main Specialization:
I did not have a “main” specialization while raiding, we had a 3 tank set-up and shaky roster at farm times. Between us 3 tanks I was the one most flexible and therefore I swapped between specializations based on the fight and needs of the guild.

    Off Specialization:
Healer was basically the one I played the least during progression (mostly when 1 or 2 healers where not present).

    Screenshot of your UI:
for my monk you can see my tank/dps UI here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UY8rnED1y0M,
for my healer UI: https://imgur.com/a/V3wVnX7 (The white boxes are just to respect the privacy of the fellow dungeoneers)

Warcraft Logs Link: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/character/eu/outland/eternia#zone=26 (took a break after the guild disbanded after Castle Nathria progression)

    Previous PvE Experience:
I wont list anything prior to MoP since they were mainly normal raid clears, never the highest level.
    MoP:
    – ToT 11/13 hc (on Priest Healer)
    – SoO 14/14 hc/m CE (on Priest swapped to Monk Heal for the last 3)
    WoD:
    – Highmaul 4/7 m (took a break to figure out how university works, rest of the tier only on hc clear including BRF)
    – Hellfire Citadel 13/13 m CE
    Legion: everything CE except Helya
    BfA:
    – Uldir 8/8 m CE
    – BoD 9/9 m CE
    – EP 6/8 m (had to relocate after Queen’s Court for an internship and since the guild had no other monk at that time they had to recruit one for my spot, which was fine but left me without a raid spot for the rest of the expansion)
    SL:
    – Castle Nathria 10/10 m CE
    – m+ in S4 after my return to the game

    History of Previous Guilds:
    – Kernfusion (later renamed to Krieger des Nordens) for Throne of Thunder and halfway through SoO
    – Paralysm (renamed to or from Paralysm reloaded) for SoO and Higmaul progression
    – Krieger des Nordens” from HFC up until Nighthold
    – LENG SQUAD from Nighthold up until Castle Nathira

    Why did you leave them?:
I left Kernfusion originally because the leadership had difficulties keeping a 25 man roster together, which hindered progression. At that time, after licking blood for the first time and not getting Lei Shen one Tier earlier made me want to finally get my first CE, so I switched to Paralysm. I left them mid Highmaul progression, because I realized university was kicking my butt and I had to figure my life out.
I went back to Kernfusion in HFC, now renamed “Krieger des Nordens”, up until Nighthold at which point people I liked were leaving or not there anymore.
After that I found the love of my life with LENG SQUAD a truly fantastic guild and even tho we had to disband after Castle Nathria, I still stay in contact with some of them, even tho they haven’t touched the game ever since.

How did you find out about Violent Circus?:
I was looking for a new guild for DF and after reading the description on wowprogress I thought you guys were a good fit for me.

Why do you think this guild is fit for you and what are your expectations from us?:
This guild seems to be able to not just scratch my itch for playing the most difficult content, but also provide a real social bond. If progression were the only thing that would matter, I would apply for a random 3 or 4 day raiding guild, but based on your description of yourself and the level of effort that went into building your own homepage, with your own artwork, really shows that you guys do care a lot about the guild and the people within.

What can you bring to the team?:
I consider myself a “Jack of all Trade” kind of player. I swap roles and specializations based on the guilds need, which requires a certain amount of understanding how each role functions on any given encounter, as well as a solid grasp of my class as a whole. I’m the guy who likes to do the extra jobs in an encounter (for example stuff like Ghun basketball or operating the pot on Antoran High Command).
I play for the team, with the team. You have a healer who likes to parse? I go on maintenance mode and try to help him (but not to the extend where it would be to detriment of the raid by provoking a wipe). You need big numbers? I will greed for those numbers.

Other than that I’m a rather social person. You can talk to me about a wide variety of topics and if it’s not my forte I’ll keep quiet and listen. Occasionally I’m funny.

Availability(How often are you available, etc.):
I’m not available until the 28th of October 2022, due to having final exams. Afterwards (and also in general) I’m available for most of the day.

Anything else you would like to add?:
Thank you for taking the time and reading my application, I hope to hear from you soon, and I wish you a great week.

    Hey Gregory,

And thank you for the long application.
We’ll discuss internally, and get back to you as soon as we can!
