Previous PvE Experience: CE-raided since N’zoth, except for Sanctum because guild disbanded in 9.1 and took a break for a tier.
History of Previous Guilds: No notable mentions prior to BFA, played casual from TBC-MoP. Honorable mention to Warmane’s Lordaeron 3.3.5 servers where I raided competatively on server rankings.
Back to retail – in BFA 8.3, I joined newly started Whats Left Behind that formed mid-tier in Ny’alotha, our first Mythic was WR5000 and finished 8.3 at WR861. Climbed to WR600 in 9.1. The guild sadly disbanded after 9.1 due to lack of players.
After 9.2 break I joined slowrunners as mage main, climbing from WR1000 first tier in Sanctum (joined after prog) to 500 in SOFO, swapped back to Hunter in VOTI finishing at 430 and currently WR350.Why did you leave them?: Actually struck me when writing this, but only left raiding guilds due to disbands prior to Slowrunners. Looking for new guild, due to hunter’s mediocre tuning and 0 raidbuffs makes the RL only want to play 1 hunter. The other hunter and I have always performed very similar, but for current raidspot he outscales me with a long-running friendship with RL (sadge).
How did you find out about Violent Circus?: Our WR goals and time-schedule aligns well. I apprecieate the longevity of the guild, seeing as you’ve kept a good WR for many tiers, which is a good sign of a healthy guild.
Why do you think this guild is fit for you and what are your expectations from us?: I look for a guild that knows how to have fun while raiding, and simuntanously keeping up with 3-4 day guilds in WR on a 2-day schedule. The goal should always be to improve as players and as a guild (within reason of the shorter raid schedule). I focus my boss-prep to the responsibility and dps-optimization of my specc, and expect leadership to make appropriate planing for the raid as a whole.
What can you bring to the team?: Solid all-around player with a good mentality, balancing social fun and a yern for orange/pink logs.
Availability(How often are you available, etc.): You can expect 100% attendance within raid times, wouldn’t invest time in applying otherwise ^^
Anything else you would like to add?: If there are any m+ enthusiasts out there I’m always down for keys (the higher the better but there’s always an toon in need of weeklies). Used to play for r1 titles but changed jobs which limited the time I could invest in the team so I left to not hold em back. Lastly, I’m open to play mage as well, although that would req 2 weeks to gear for M-prog. Skål!
Hello Merdía,
Thanks very much for applying! We’ve discussed your application internally, and unfortunately we do not have room for another hunter in our roster, so we have decided to decline your application.
We wish you the best of luck finding a more suitable guild!
