Previous PvE Experience:

Only started playing WoW during the beginning of Shadowlands. Started to take raiding seriously around SoD and found a casual guild called No Quarter. Cleared up to Painsmith on Mythic and the guild disbanded. Because of my relatively decent heroic logs I found a guild who were progressing Mythic Sylvanas. Unfortunately, I missed the kill on Mythic Sylvanas because I was out for my birthday… 30th September was the kill date with Jump Off on Kazzak. I can provide a birth certificate and logs (both progression and kill) to prove it! Logs on Mythic SoD fall off a bit as I had no experience in bosses past Painsmith and thus rotations/mechanics/timings were based off whatever I could find when I joined Jump Off for a clearing run.

After this, myself and my fiancé had a son together so I missed all of 9.1.5. Joined a guild called Taco to get back in to things and then began raiding with a guild with a higher WR for Jailer CE and Fated progression called Curse of Years and progressed with them this tier.

History of Previous Guilds:
I’ve played MOBA’s semi-professionally, part of the FNATIC set-up in Heroes of Newerth many years ago. I was part of Wildstar world first kills within Enigma & Eugenic and peaked Diamond in League of Legends.

Why did you leave them?:
No Quarter – Disband
Jump Off – Break after having a son, no room upon rejoining.
Taco – Casual Mythic Guild upon re-joining WoW

How did you find out about Violent Circus?:
Through searching on WoW Progress.

Why do you think this guild is fit for you and what are your expectations from us?:
Three day raiding is, honestly, a bit much for me right now given I have a fiancé who expects some quality time and a son who needs to go to bed at a certain time (and apparently needs looking after, who knew?!) You guys quite clearly have some top-tier players and leadership to be achieving the results you have on the schedule you’re raiding on and I’ve love to be a part of it. The fact that several of you have met up outside of Azeroth, that you have existed as a group over a certain period of time with fantastic results is also evidence of the community and bond you’ve built. I really don’t want to have to find a new group of people after my next move and I’m hopeful of finding a forever home (makes me sound like an abandoned dog!)

What can you bring to the team?:
I bring extensive experience over multiple games, always take constructive criticism on board and happy to offer advice on things I might see that could be improved if it’s the right moment and have a lot of self-agency in attempting to improve myself.

Good knowledge of the classes I play, maintained through rotational investigation on wowlogs/relevant discords etc. also for optimal timings based on progression, not parsing. Happy to take one for the team and do mechanics to sacrifice damage output where needed. Always go away and do my own research on progression bosses and offer constructive suggestions if I believe it’s valid (but also happy to admit when I’m wrong!)

Availability(How often are you available, etc.):
Normally most evenings, obviously all evenings stated to raid.

Anything else you would like to add?:
I’ve gamed from an early age and always been competitive so want to be part of a team now that I can settle in to and be part of for the distant future. I’m happy to take one for the team and sacrifice DPS for mechanics where necessary and to offer ideas and suggestions if I see ways things can potentially be improved which is a good skill particularly for high WR’ing guilds. As above though, happy to be told i’m wrong and to take other direction!
